My beautiful, I wish with all my heart that this post will help you and read on to know how it is done.
- Henna is the one that gives additional benefits to our hair such as giving it strength and being an excellent anti-cancer. In addition, it has pigmenting properties. It leaves hair healthier, protected, reduces the breakages of the hair strands and gives a lot of shine.
- The indigo gives the black or dark brown tone to the hair.
- Mixture of 75%henna and 25%Indigo (75 gr henna and 25gr Indigo, amount according to the hair to be covered, 100 gr for hair up to the shoulders)
- Hot water (not boiling)
- Plastic hat or plastic kitchen film
- (optional) Sage infusion, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice…
Tip 1 : Hot water is to accelerate the oxidation of henna and that all its pigmenting properties come out.
Tip 2: Hair should be clean. So henna grips her well. If it is dirty or has oils it can make it difficult to obtain a uniform color throughout the hair.
Paint hair with 75%henna mix and 25%Indigo
How to prepare henna?
Prepare the henna mixture. Add 75 gr in a bowl and mix with hot water (not boiling). You can add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to give more shine, sage infusion to give more hydration and lemon juice to release more pigmentating properties. Mix slowly until you get the consistency neither very thick nor very liquid. A consistency similar to that of Greek yogurt. Let the mixture stand for 2 hours before use. Covered with a kitchen plastic.
How and when to prepare the indigo?
Then, when 45 min is missing before painting the hair. Mix the indigo 25 gr with hot water (not boiling). Cover with a plastic. Let stand for 30 min
Now it’s time to mix the henna with the indigo
Finally, add the indigo paste to the henna paste and mix well until all uniform.
How to apply henna e indigo mixture to have copper brown hair?
Apply to the hair in the same way as a normal dye. Make sure you apply it abundantly so that it dyes everything well. If the lens is only the color with 1 hour it would be enough. If you have some gray hair leave it longer between 1-4 hours. Rinse with warm water.
The result is incredible, the coverage is maximum and you get a totally uniform and bright color. No chemicals. Naturally and healthy. Pretty hair is half the beauty of a woman.
I encourage you to take care of yourself naturally and to experiment and you can ask me your doubts whenever you want. Let me know in the comments. It will be a pleasure to be able to help you.
With great affection?
